The Revista Brasileira de Biometria (RBB) / Brazilian Journal of Biometrics (BJB) is an international journal published quarterly by the Department of Statistics, Federal University of Lavras - UFLA. The general objective of the journal is to publish original research papers that explore, promote and extend statistical methods in applied biological sciences.

It is a peer-reviewed journal aimed at both statisticians and scientists who use statistical methods in different branches of biology, including agriculture, animal sciences, ecology, forest, food science, genetics and plant breeding, livestock, medicine, public health, soil science, veterinary science and, wood science to name but a few.

The RBB has neither article submission or article processing charges.

EVALUATION PROCESS

The submitted works will be evaluated by at least two external reviewers (double blind), specialists in the issue of the paper. The referees have a period of 21 calendar days from the review acceptance to prepare a critical evaluation of the article. This period may be extended, at most for an equal period, at the discretion of the editor.

 

OPEN ACCESS POLICY

All journal content, except where noted, is licensed under a  Creative Commons 4.0 International. The journal uses for licensing the transfer of rights Creative commons attribution 3.0 to open access journals Open Archives Iniciative - OAI -, categoria green road.

For open access means the free availability on the Internet so users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of documents, process them for indexing, use them as programs for software input data, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial barrier, legal or technical.

 

The RBB is indexed by:
